Ms. Love's practice focuses are lobbying, intergovernmental relations, and criminal and civil litigation. Prior to joining Rosette & Associates, Chris worked for the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community’s Office of Congressional & Legislative Affairs as a staffer and Acting Special Assistant. As Special Assistant, Chris served as the Community’s intergovernmental relations liaison, working with tribal, local, state and national officials on legislative, legal, cultural and development issues. While in law school, she interned for the Supreme Court of the Ft. McDowell Yavapai Nation, served as an Academic Success Program Tutor and a worked research assistant to Rebecca Tsosie and former Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Kevin Gover.
Chris' background in journalism helped her win a position on the Arizona State Law Journal where she remains the only African American woman to ever be chosen for the staff. She has also received several writing honors, including the Minority Writing Program Scholarship and the Martin Luther King Writing Scholarship sponsored by Governor Janet Napolitano. Ms. Love is currently pending admission to the Arizona Bar.
