Ms. Bobee received her JD from the Michigan State College of Law with a certificate from the Indigenous Law and Policy Center. She has conducted research and collaborated on various projects related to Native American law including cross-deputization agreements between Indian tribes and state and federal law enforcement, Legal Services Corporation and ability to represent defendants in criminal matters, the ability of Urban Indian Health Services to provide services to Indians of tribes who are not federally recognized, and emerging tribal economics.
Prior to joining Rosette, LLP, Ms. Bobee was the Legislative Director and Chief of Staff for a Representative in the Michigan House of Representatives. This position gave her first-hand knowledge of the legislative process through her involvement with staffing legislative committees, workgroups and Session. She also gained invaluable experience drafting, analyzing and researching legislation.
